Group chat self-destructs after the plan
Something to do tonight.
Someone to do it with.
Waddle is the low-pressure way to meet new people in NYC over real plans: a slice run, a museum wander, a coffee walk. No photos, no swiping, no dating. Start a Huddle, approve a few pals, and go.

Group chat self-destructs after the plan
A Huddle is a live plan: what, where, when, and how many pals you need. It disappears once filled, or 30 minutes after start time.
What, where, when, how many pals. Takes thirty seconds.
Penguins nearby ask to join. You choose who’s in.
A group chat appears, just for this plan.
Meet at a public spot, usually within 48 hours. The chat self-destructs after.
Faces to judge. Feeds to scroll. Chats that never turn into plans. Waddle starts from the plan instead of the person, and everything else follows from that one choice.
This is not a dating app. It’s the neighborhood cafe of apps: company for the things you already want to do. A reliability rating rewards actually showing up, and all of it is completely free. And the algorithm? The algorithm is you.
A waddle is a group of penguins. Emperor penguins survive the Antarctic winter by huddling: hundreds of birds packed close, taking turns on the cold edge so everyone gets time in the warm middle.
That’s the entire product strategy. New York in January is only slightly warmer.
The first flock lands in Manhattan below 14th and across North Brooklyn. Everywhere else unlocks as pals join.
Amber means first flock. The rest open as their waddles grow.
Waddle is invite-only. Ask a pal for their code. No pals yet? That’s exactly what we’re for. Ask us.
Requests go to contact@waddle.nyc. A human reads every one, usually within a day or two. Codes go out as neighborhoods open.
Already got a code from a pal? It works the day the app lands. Codes don’t expire.
